West Plains, MO. – The judge is set to change for the case against a Caulfield man who is charged with shooting at a vehicle containing his children and their mother in October.
The attorney for Cody Hopkins requested a change of judge on December 23, 2022 and the motion was sustained by Judge Steven Privette. According to online court documents, a case review has been scheduled for March 6, 2023 while awaiting the assignment of a new judge.
Cody Hopkins is charged with:
- 3 counts of Armed Criminal Action
- 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- and one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Exhibiting, Unlawful Use of a Weapon – Shooting at a Motor Vehicle, and one count of 1st Degree Domestic Assault.
