he Royals were knocked off at home on Opening Day. Kansas City lost to the Cleveland Guardians 7-4 in a 10-inning contest at Kauffman Stadium. Vinnie Pasquantino was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Sam Long was tagged with the loss in relief after letting up three runs in the top of the 10th. The Royals host the Guardians again tomorrow afternoon.
