Ingrid Andress’ rendition of the National Anthem ahead of Monday’s baseball festivities at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas drew harsh criticism across social media.

The 32-year-old country singer is a four-time Grammy Award nominee, and may have put herself in the running among the historically bad anthem performances.

Social media comments included:

“That rendition of the national anthem was more harmful to America than Pearl Harbor.”

“New awful national anthem just dropped.”

“The worst National Anthem I’ve ever heard.”

Roseanne Barr’s 1990 rendition at a San Diego Padres game — complete with shout-singing the verses of “The Star-Spangled Banner” while grabbing her crotch and spitting on the pitcher’s mound — is considered one of the worst attempts at the song.

Pop singer Fergie delivered an awful attempt at the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend, for which she later apologized.

The MLB Home Run Derby went viral last night, but not because of the competition. Singer Ingrid Andress is getting dragged online for her rendition of the National Anthem at Globe Life Field.
