Isaiah Buggs has turned himself into the Tuscaloosa Alabama County Jail charged with mistreating two dogs who were left outside for days at a house he was renting. But the story gets stranger. The 27-year-old’s agent, Trey Robinson, said that the dogs do not belong to Buggs and that his client was unaware they were on his property. Robinson says Buggs is a victim of an ongoing ” campaign” to shut down his hookah lounge in Tuscaloosa.
Buggs was signed to the practice squad last February after playing with Detroit and Pittsburgh.
The Chiefs will return to the practice field next week for more organized team activities. Kansas City will hold their third and final week of OTA’s beginning on Tuesday. The team’s mandatory minicamp is set to begin on June 11th.
