Liberty Eagles fall to Licking Wildcats

In their second meeting Licking beats the Eagles 67-64 in a close game through 4 quarters. Liberty could not hit anything from behind the 3 point line to start the game. Liberty and Licking tied after the first, even at 16-16. With 1:28 left in the half, Licking gets the lead after a big 3 from Carter Sullen. Licking closes the half 32-31. Liberty came out in the second a more aggressive team and takes the lead right out of the gate forcing Licking to take a time out, but Licking quickly gains back the lead and finishes the 3rd with a small lead of 55-52. After a couple turnovers, Liberty tried to slow down the game with a timeout, Licking leading 62-59 with 3:47 left in the 4th. With 3.3 seconds to go and all tied up 64-64, Licking calls a timeout in the 4th and Rosten Stockard after the time out  gets the ball drains a huge three to put Licking ahead at the buzzer, 67-64.
