The latest win in the chain of victories for the Liberty Eagles came from tonight’s game vs Cabool. Both teams came out putting out all the effort they could muster. Liberty, however, managed to edge out their opponent and score quickly and often. The first half of the went fast and hard and Liberty dominated the game, ending the first half with a total score of 35 to 6.
In the second half, the Cabool Bulldogs had learned from their opponents and fought hard, managing to take advantage of some of the opening Liberty had left for their opponents. However, despite their best efforts, the gap never closed throughout the game. The turbo clock had even activated in the latter parts of the game, putting an obvious countdown for the coming end. The Liberty Eagles scored one final touchdown in the last moments of the game, and crowning their winning score of 61 to 14 with an 80 yard touchdown.
