Mizzou Loses To Dallas Baptist In Opening Game Of Frisco College Baseball Classic

FRISCO, Texas – Mizzou Baseball (3-6) fell to Dallas Baptist (6-2) in its first game of the Frisco College Baseball Classic, 3-2, at Dr. Pepper Ballpark on Thursday night.

The Tigers plated a run in the third on a Brandt Belk single through the left side and added another in the fifth on double from Joshua Day. Mizzou held the Patriots scoreless until the eighth when Dallas Baptist put up a three-spot off of a fielder’s choice and a double.
