Mizzou’s Cuonzo Martin Named ESPN’s National Coach of the Week

COLUMBIA, MO. – After a 2-0 week that saw Mizzou secure wins over No. 21 Oregon on a neutral floor and Wichita State on the road, Mizzou Men’s Basketball head coach Cuonzo Martin has been named ESPN’s National Coach of the Week.

Martin’s squad is 3-0 to begin the 2020-21 campaign, the program’s first 3-0 start since 2013-14. The Tigers picked up their first win over a ranked opponent away from home since 2012 with their 83-75 victory over No. 21 Oregon.

ESPN’s Jeff Borzello tabbed Martin the National Coach of the Week on Monday morning.
