KANSAS CITY — The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the 2019-20 NABC Honors Court, recognizing more than 1,350 men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. Missouri State’s Kabir Mohammed represented the Bears on this year’s Honors Court announcement.
Mohammed graduated in May with a degree in Supply Chain Management after playing two seasons at Missouri State. He played in 22 games his senior season for coach Dana Ford, racking up 58 points and 44 rebounds in 222 minutes of action. Mohammed, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, scored a career scoring high in his final appearance at JQH Arena, scoring 15 points and snagging seven rebounds in the Bears’ senior day win over Southern Illinois on Feb. 29.
