It’s the annual Mountain Grove Tournament and the opening game saw the #4 seed Liberty Eagles going up against the #5 seed Willow Springs Bears. It was a tight game throughout, with the Bears going into halftime up by just a single point 42-41. It would remain tight throughout the remainder of the game but in the end it was Kaden Daniels with a season high 31 points leading the Eagles to victory(61-56). The Bears were led by Owen Duddridge who had 18 points. The story of the game was Kaden Daniels for Liberty, but for Willow it was playing shorthanded with 3 players unable to play. The team stepped up and played hard and showed grit and determination throughout. Willow Springs will play tomorrow night while Liberty will play Thursday night.
