The MSU West Plains Grizzlies faced down the State Fair Community College Roadrunners on February 28th, 2023, on their home court in West Plains. The last time the Grizzlies took on the Roadrunners they unfortunately walked away with their heads down as the Roadrunners won that game with a final score of 70-80. The Grizzlies hoped to rectify that loss with a win so they could move on and play more basketball this season.
The first half the Grizzlies fought hard to gain a lead over the Roadrunners. They couldn’t achieve that lead with the Roadrunners leading at halftime with a score of 32-39
The second half didn’t fall in the Grizzlies favor as they fell deeper and deeper into a basketless hole. Grizzlies fought hard in the last fourth of the game to catch up and climb out of the hole, but the Roadrunners wanted it more in the end.
The MSU WP Grizzlies fall to the State Fair CC Roadrunners with a final score of 60-73 and with that the Grizzlies season comes to an end with the final win-loss ratio of 11-19.
