GRIZZLY HEATHER MONTAGUE, a 5-foot, 9-inch defensive specialist/setter from Koshkonong, will continue her collegiate career at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and will serve as student manager for the Red Wolves volleyball team. Her main duties as student manager will be keeping the stats during practices and games. “Heather as been a big part of our Grizzly program for the past two years,” Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paty Figueiredo said. “She helped the team succeed on and off the court. She is a great leader and does what it takes to help her teammates. We are very happy for her and grateful for all she has done for the Grizzly Volleyball program. GRIZZLY DOGA KUTLU, seated, a 5-foot, 10-inch setter from Ankara, Turkey, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her collegiate volleyball career at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. For the past two seasons, Kutlu has been a mainstay for Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) at the setter position. During her two years as a Grizzly, she has recorded 2,616 assists, 10.10 assists per game, 638 digs and 111 service aces. “We are very excited for Doga and her commitment to further her studies and volleyball career with the UConn Huskies,” Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paty Figueiredo said. “Doga has been a great asset for our program and a great leader. She developed and contributed to the growth of the team on and off the court. As a setter, she led our team in assists totaling 2,616, finishing third in school history in career assists. This past season she finished fourth in the nation in assists and fifth in the nation in assists per set. She also was selected as a second team All-American at the NJCAA’s Division I level. GRIZZLY ALY REESER, seated, a 5-foot, 7-inch defensive specialist from Loveland, Colorado, has signed a national letter of intent to continue her collegiate volleyball career at Arizona Western College in Yuma. Reeser joined the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) volleyball team this past season. “We are excited for Aly and her commitment to the Arizona Western Matadors,” Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paty Figueiredo said. “She spent one year with us and contributed playing different positions. She was a libero/defensive specialist, but she also did a great job when the team needed her playing on the outside position.
