Kansas City fell to the Washington Nationals 7-3 to open a three-game series in the nation’s capital. Maikel Garcia had two RBIs to lead the team at the plate while Carter Jensen also drove-in a run. Starting pitcher Mitch Spence was charged with his first loss after allowing six runs through four innings. The Royals are now 29-and-44. They visit the Nationals again this evening.
