CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – No. 16/19 University of Missouri softball (8-3) travels west for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic to play five games, including three against Top 10 teams, each from the Pac-12 Conference.
The Tigers will open the weekend by facing off with No. 9/11 Oregon and former Big 12 foe Texas Tech on Friday. First pitch for each game is set for 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. CT, respectively.
Mizzou will continue the difficult schedule with San Diego State and No. 5 Washington at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday before closing out the weekend with No. 6 UCLA on Sunday.
Jordan Weber has continued her dominance in the circle from the 2021 postseason. Weber holds a 0.90 ERA over her last 62 innings pitched while holding opposing batters to a .095 batting average. Mizzou pitching overall holds a 1.39 ERA on the year.
Laurin Krings tossed her first no-hitter against Bethune-Cookman at The Spring Games while striking out eight batters. Krings lost a no-hit bid in the 2021 NCAA Columbia Regional agaisnt Northern Iowa with two outs in the seventh inning.
