No. 18/20 Mizzou Softball Heads Down I-70 for Face Saint Louis

COLUMBIA, Mo. – After taking the series against No. 24/25 Auburn, Mizzou will take on Saint Louis in a midweek matchup Tuesday at 3 pm CT on ESPN+.

Mizzou pitching led the way against Auburn with Jordan Weber headlining the staff. In the opener, Weber went six innings and struck out 13 batters, something that no Tiger had done since Chelsea Thomas in 2013. Emma Nichols and Megan Schumacher provided impressive relief outings for Mizzou as well. Nichols earned the victory on Friday by going 3.0 innings and allowing only an infield single.

Mizzou leads the all-time series with Saint Louis 63-3. The last matchup took place in 2015 with a 10-6 Tiger victory.

Fans are allowed at the Billiken Sports Complex in Saint Louis. Facemasks and proper social distancing measures are required. The bleachers will be marked for proper available seating and the outfield area is open seating for lawn chairs and blankets.
