No. 25 Mizzou Volleyball Meets No. 7 Florida in SEC Showdown

COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 25 Mizzou Volleyball (13-5, 13-5 SEC) travels to Gainesville, Fla., for a pair of top-25 matchups against No. 7 Florida (14-2, 14-2 SEC) this weekend. The Tigers and Gators meet on Friday (March 12) in a noon C.T. first serve before meeting again on Saturday (March 13) at 3 p.m. CT.

Both matches against the Gators will air live on SEC Network +.

• at Florida (March 12-13)

• Mizzou trails the all-time series against Florida 8-5.
• Each of the past two meetings have gone five sets with the teams splitting the matches. Florida earned a 3-2 victory in Columbia in 2019 while the Tigers earned a five-set win in Gainesville in 2018.
• This weekend marks the first time Mizzou and Florida will meet twice in a season since 2017.
• The Tigers and Gators are meeting as ranked foes for the second consecutive season and sixth time overall.

• Mizzou climbed back into the AVCA Coaches Poll at No. 25. The Tigers have been ranked in 16 of this season’s 17 polls.
• Sophomore Claudia Dillon ranks fifth in the SEC with her .374 hitting percentage. She is the only player in the conference hitting over .350 with 50 or more sets played.
• Senior Kylie Deberg continues to pace the SEC in kills, kills/set, points and points/set. The outside hitter is averaging 4.63 kills per set and 5.40 points per set. Deberg also ranks third in the league with 0.41 aces per set. Deberg ranks sixth nationally in points, sixth in kills, eighth in points per set and 13th in kills per set.
• Senior Dariana Hollingsworth-Santana’s next block will be her 250th career rejection. The senior is also closing in on moving into Mizzou’s top 10 all-time in career block assists and total blocks.
• Redshirt junior setter Andrea Fuentes posted a season-high 53 assists in Mizzou’s last match at South Carolina.
