The St. Louis Blues announced today that their final 2022 preseason game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 8 has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m.
In addition, the Blues’ Ice Breaker event, originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 7 at Centene Community Ice Center, has been postponed.
The Blues have released the following statement concerning the time change and Ice Breaker announcement:
The Blues-Blackhawks time change was made in order to avoid a conflict with the Cardinals’ home playoff game on Oct. 8. The rescheduled start time resulted in additional schedule changes for the Blues beginning Friday and through the weekend. Unfortunately, those changes have required the team to postpone the Ice Breaker event until a date during the regular season, which will be announced in the near future. The Blues apologize to fans for any inconvenience due to the event postponement and rescheduling of Saturday’s game. The entire Blues family joins all St. Louis sports fans in our support of the Cardinals in their pursuit of a 12th World Series championship.
All tickets purchased for the Ice Breaker event will be automatically refunded.
