Packers Star Josh Jacobs Arrested, Facing Five Charges In Domestic Abuse Case

Josh Jacobs of the Green Bay Packers was arrested in Wisconsin after police investigated a reported domestic disturbance from earlier in the week. Authorities say he’s facing five charges, including domestic battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, intimidation of a victim, and felony strangulation and suffocation.

Police say the incident happened Saturday morning, and Jacobs later turned himself in Tuesday before being booked into the Brown County Jail. The investigation is still ongoing, and officials have not released many details about what allegedly happened.

Jacobs’ attorneys released a statement strongly denying the allegations and said important facts have not yet come out publicly. The Packers said they’re aware of the situation but declined further comment because it’s now a legal matter. The NFL also confirmed it’s monitoring the case and staying in contact with the team.

The arrest is a major story for Green Bay because Jacobs has become one of the team’s biggest offensive stars since joining the Packers on a four-year, $48 million contract in 2024. Depending on how the case unfolds, he could also face possible discipline from the NFL under the league’s personal conduct policy.
