Phil Mickelson, 10 Others from LIV Golf File Antitrust Lawsuit Against PGA Tour

Phil Mickelson and 10 other golfers have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the PGA Tour after they were suspended for joining the Saudi-backed LIV Golf series. The 11 players allege the PGA Tour is trying to hurt their careers and they aim to “strike down the PGA Tour’s anticompetitive rules and practices.”

Three of the players — Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford and Matt Jones — have also filed a temporary restraining order that would allow them to play the upcoming FedEx Playoffs.

Earlier this month, a U.K. judge granted a stay to four LIV Golf players who were suspended by the DP World Tour, allowing them to play in the Genesis Scottish Open.
