Phillies 5, Cardinals 3…10 innings

The St. Louis Cardinals wasted a ninth-inning comeback during a 5-3, ten-inning loss to the Philadelphia Phillies at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals trailed by two in the ninth before Jordan Walker and Masyn Winn each drove in a run to tie the game. However, Ryan Helsley surrendered a pair of runs in the next half-inning and was charged with his first loss in relief. Ivan Herrera added a home run in the losing effort as the Cardinals dropped to 5-and-6. Sonny Gray starts for the Cards against Philly tonight.
