Prospect Showcase set for Sept. 13-15

The fourth annual Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase is set for September 13-15 at Centene Community Ice Center (CCIC).

The showcase will include a round-robin style format of exhibition games featuring prospects from the St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild.

The Blues will have one pre-showcase practice on Thursday at 10 a.m. before hosting the Blackhawks on Friday at 7 p.m. and the Wild on Sunday at 3 p.m.

All practice sessions and games will be free and open to the public. Games will streamed live at stlouisblues.com and the Blues App, with live audio also available on 101 ESPN. Blues radio play-by-play announcer Chris Kerber and color analyst Joey Vitale will be on the call for Blues games while the Blackhawks-Wild matchup will be called by the Iowa Wild’s (AHL – Minnesota) Ben Gislason and the Rockford Ice Hogs’ (AHL – Chicago) Mike Folta.

This marks the Blues’ second year of participating in the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase after debuting last year in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Following the showcase, the Blues will open 2024 training camp on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Centene Community Ice Center. The following night, the team will celebrate the beginning of the 2024-25 season with live musical performances and player appearances at Blues and Brews at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
