The Seattle Mariners have acquired outfielder Randy Arozarena in a trade with the Rays.
Tampa Bay will get back two prospects, outfielder Aidan Smith and pitcher Brody Hopkins, along with a player to be named later.

Arozarena, the 2021 Rookie of the Year and 2023 American League All-Star got off to a slow start this year, but has crushed 15 homers.
He has belted 86 homers and has a .442 slugging percentage in six seasons with the Rays.
He’ll now join a Seattle outfield that includes 2022 Rookie of the Year Julio Rodriguez.
