The Cardinals managed just two hits in a 3-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds at Busch Stadium. Yadier Molina and Paul DeJong were the only two players with base knocks in the losing effort. Jordan Montgomery was charged with his fifth loss after giving up three runs in five-and-a-third innings. The Cardinals are still in first place in the NL Central with an eight-game lead over Milwaukee at 87-and-61. Adam Wainwright starts for St. Louis against San Diego tomorrow night.
