The Royals picked up a big win in the desert. Kansas City defeated the Texas Rangers 15-6 at Surprise Stadium. Luke Maile led the way at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Nick Pratto also finished with three RBIs while starting pitcher Seth Lugo earned the win on the mound. The Royals are now 4-0-and-1. They host the Colorado Rockies this afternoon.
