The Royals are coming out of the All-Star break with a series win. Hunter Dozier drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as the Royals doubled up the Rays 4-2 in KC. Bobby Witt Jr., Nick Pratto, and MJ Melendez also plated runs for the Royals, who took two-of-three in the series. Kris Bubic tossed seven innings of two-run ball for the win. Yandy Diaz homered and scored both runs for Tampa, which now holds the second AL Wild Card at 52-and-43. Brooks Raley suffered his first loss.
