The Royals continued their homestand with a series-opening 4-2 win over the Twins last night. Kyle Isbel led the way for Kansas City, collecting three hits and a pair of RBIs in the victory. Michael Lorenzen earned the win on the mound, allowing an earned run in six innings of work. The series continues tonight with Cole Ragans on the hill for the Royals, opposite Minnesota’s Pablo Lopez.
