The Royals are settling for a split in their doubleheader with the White Sox. Kansas City took the first game of the day 4-2. Brady Singer held the White Sox to one run over seven and one-third innings to collect the win for the Royals. Vinnie Pasquantino and Nick Pratto went deep with a pair of two-run blasts to lead the Kansas City offense. Chicago would bounce back in the second game with a 3-2 victory. Davis Martin allowed one run over five and two-thirds innings for his second win of the season. Lenyn Sosa and Yoan Moncada hit a couple of solo shots for the White Sox.
