It was the battle of the Lady Bears Thursday night in district semi-final play, as the Willow Springs Bears took on the top seeded Ava Bears. Both teams started off slow, with the Lady Bears from Ava taking a slim 8 – 6 lead at the end of the first quarter. Unfortunately for Willow Springs, Ava would slowly pull away in the second quarter, and go on to defeat the Lady Bears.
