The West Plains girls swept the top honors at the Ozark Conference Cross Country meet on Saturday. Lady Zizzers posted a meet-low 25 points to capture this year’s title. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lady Zizzers who also won the event in 2020. West Plains was paced by identical twin sisters Brayden and Jordan Kantola, and Jayna Gunter, who finished first, second and third at the meet. Brayden crossed the tape at 19:50.34, Jordan 20:05.22 and Jayna 20:21.05. Zizzer Boys finished second behind Kickapoo Crossing the tape first for the second place West Plains Zizzers was Brodie Callahan with a time of 17:27.47.
