Congratulations to Kenna Woolsey and Coach Safranek! Kenna won in two sets at sectionals and qualified for the state finals Friday May 21st at the Coopers Sport Complex in Springfield.
Class 1 district 4 championship baseball game will be played today at Norwood at 4pm Norwood vs Dora.
Class 2 district 6 championship baseball game at Seymour Gainsville vs Seymour at 5pm.
Class 3 district 9 championship baseball game will be played at Houston at 4pm with Licking playing Linn
Class 4 district 9 championship baseball game will be played at Sullivan Thursday May 20th Salem vs St Clair.

The TCMH Healthcare Foundation hosts a charitable golf tourney Saturday June 12th. Traditionally, the event has been played at Oakwood Golf Course in Houston, MO. The format is a two-person scramble $120.00 per team with tee off times slated for 8AM and 1PM! For more info please call 417-967-1377

The KC Royals hosted the Brewers last night, with KC getting the win 2-0 The Royals play the Brewers again tonight at 710.
Houston Parks and Recreation will be holding free Golf and Tennis lessons and also hold a week long free golf camp for youth ages 5 and older. Golf lessons will be held on Tuesdays starting June 1st at the Houston Municipal Golf Course. Tennis lessons will be held on Thursday’s starting June 3rd at the Tennis Courts in Westside Park (by the pool). The golf camp will be held August 9-13th at HMGC. If we have a large enrollment we may break lessons down into age brackets. Equipment will be available at no cost. If you are interested in having your child participate please contact Larry Benoist at 417-260-4910. Please notify Larry prior to June 1st to ensure we have equipment available and to determine times for the different age groups if needed.
