COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou wrapped up spring practice No. 7 at the outdoor practice facility on Tuesday.
The Tigers focused on positional and special teams workouts before running situational teams drills. After practice Mizzou special teams coordinator Erik Link, redshirt sophomore kicker Blake Craig and junior wide receiver and return specialist Marquis Johnson met with members of the media to give an update on the spring season to date.
“It’s going to be hard, but it’s going to be a very fun ride,” Johnson said when asked about preparations for the 2025 season. “In terms of being a return specialist, I love being back there and being able to just freely run.”
MU returns to the practice field for its eighth spring workout on Wednesday.
“Definitely consistency,” Craig said when asked about points of emphasis for him this offseason. “My main focus area are the right hash and 40-49, just based off statistics from last year.”
