The 119th Missouri Amateur Championship is set to commence June 23-28

The 119th Missouri Amateur Championship is set to commence June 23-28 at Milburn Country Club in Kansas City as players from across the Show-Me-State come together to compete for the title “Missouri Amateur Champion”. Attached is a preview of the championship.

The championship, Missouri Golf’s oldest and most prestigious event, will feature 144 of the state’s top amateur golfers competing for the title Missouri Amateur Champion and a spot in the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship. The field includes defending champion Chad Niezing of Manchester, four-time champion Brad Nurski of St. Joseph, and five former Missouri Amateur champions representing nine combined titles.

Milburn Country Club, founded in 1917, will host the championship for the sixth time in its history and has previously hosted numerous notable events including U.S. Open Qualifying, U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifying, and The Watson Challenge.
