COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou concluded spring practice No. 11 at the outdoor practice facility on Tuesday.
The Tigers focused on positional and special teams workouts before running situational teams drills. After practice Mizzou offensive coordinator Kirby Moore, redshirt sophomore running back Jamal Roberts and senior wide receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. met with members of the media to give an update on the spring season to date.
“It’s a great place to be,” Coleman Jr. said when asked about why he transferred to Mizzou. “I remember when Coach Drink first came here and just to see where he’s taken this place, I had to come be a part of it.”
MU returns to the practice field for its 12th spring workout on Wednesday.
“It’s spring ball so we’re trying to develop those guys in the running back room,” Roberts said when asked about the youngers guys in his positional room like Marquise Davis and Austyn Dendy. “Just getting them to understand the playbook. They’ve been impressive in the running back room and on special teams.”
