COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri women’s basketball wraps up its three-game homestand at 6 p.m. on Tuesday against Tulane. The contest will be broadcast on SEC Network.
Missouri is coming off of a loss to Norfolk State on Sunday.
Sophomore Abbey Schreacke led the Missouri with 15 points, all of which came from behind the arc. The sophomore’s five 3-pointers matched a career-high last accomplished at Florida on Feb. 22, 2024.
Graduate Angelique Ngalakulondi contributed 14 points, 12 of which came in the second half.
Ngalakulondi’s scoring total is her most in a Tigers’ uniform.
Senior forward Laniah Randle added nine points and 10 rebounds, falling one board shy of a second-consecutive double-double performance.
Sophomore Tionna Herron made her Missouri debut and notched four points against the Spartans.
Tuesday will mark the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
Tulane enters the contest at 0-1 following a season opening loss Nichols on Thursday.
The Green Wave finished last season at 12-20 before being defeated in the AAC tournament championship game.
Tulane is coached by Ashley Langford who is in her first season at the helm.
Langford spent the previous three years at Stony Brook where she compiled a 69-24 record
The Green Wave roster is headlined by Sherese Pittman who leads the team with 14.0 points per game.
Junior Amira Mabry and redshirt senior Kyren Whittington contribute 13.0 and 11.0 respectively.
