West Plains, MO. – The West Plains Zizzers took on the Marshfield Bluejays on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Marshfield, Missouri. These two teams play very similarly and the game was a constant back-and-forth with the score.
The Zizzers started the game strong, leading the Bluejays in the first 17 to 15. This lead came from a quick basket in the last minute of the quarter. The lead wouldn’t hold, as Marshfield played hard and pushed to a 9 point lead in the second quarter to end the half with a score of Zizzers 24, Bluejays 33.
West Plains came back to the court after halftime playing hard. The Zizzers outscored the Bluejays in the third quarter 26 to 8, ending the quarter with a score of 46 to 41. West Plains kept up the pressure and were able to grow their lead to 11 points to end the game with the win.
The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Marshfield Bluejays, 63 to 52. The Zizzers will next play at the Blue & Gold Tournament on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. with a rematch against the Bluejays.
