The West Plains Zizzers took on the Kickapoo Chiefs in Springfield. West Plains looked to recover from there first defeat of the season by the Camdenton Lakers but unfortunately fell short of there goal.
The first quarter was a good start for the Kickapoo Chiefs leading the board by seven going into the second quarter.
The second quarter was far more eventful, filled with determination due to this being there homecoming game, the Kickapoo Chiefs went on to score two more touchdowns while the Zizzers trailed in points. Two impressive field goal kicks where made by the Zizzers special teams to put a score on the board with the longest being a 41 yarder.
The second half of the game was a back and forth between two impressive defenses playing as hard as they could. Though, the Zizzers came within two yards of a touchdown in the final seconds of the game unfortunately they came up just short.
The West Plains Zizzers lost to the Kickapoo Chiefs 6 to 21 at the final.
