He graduated from Morton High School and served in the Army from 1956-1958.
Edward married Marguerite Sourile on December 15, 1971. They lived in Wauconda, IL, until 1984, when they moved to Alton, MO.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers Robert and Nicki, and nephews Douglas Winterfeld and Steve Bartik.
He is survived by sister-in-law Carolyn Nuwer, nieces and nephews Karen, Susie, Dave, Marcie and Donavan, and many other family and friends.
