He was born July 19, 1939, at Handey, MO, to Aaron & Gladys Haney. On March 9th, 1963, he married Barbara Kay Haney. Mr. Haney accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 2004 & was baptized at United Freewill Baptist Church. Mr. Haney started C&H Roofing in 1966 located in St. Louis, MO. He bought a farm & moved his family to Thomasville, MO, in 1972, where they farmed for 12 years. Mr. Haney started a successful family business, Haney’s Automotive, in 1982 that is still thriving today in West Plains, MO. After his retirement he started a dozing & gravel hauling business.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Kay Haney of 59 years of marriage; his 3 children, Chris Haney & wife Glennette Haney of Rover, MO, Curtis Haney & Tina Haney of West Plains, MO, Darryl “Sarge” Haney & wife Michelle Haney of West Plains, MO; eight grandchildren, Aaron, Tiffany, Tabitha, Andi, Isaac, Gavin, Ashley & Gabriella; four great-grandchildren, Miley, Mason, Addy & Marshall; special Family friends, Hattie Russell of 45 years & Wilma Pratt of 76 years. His parents & two brothers, one sister & several cousins preceded him in death.
