Rita Hurtado

Rita Faye Hurtado was born April 11, 1963, in Alton, MO to Dow and Jewel (Smith) Williams. Rita later married her husband, Bill Hurtado, September 15, 1984. Rita enjoyed life and living life to the fullest. Rita loved her girls, her grandkids, and her husband more than life itself. Rita loved spending time with family and friends, she loved being outdoors, fishing, hunting, doing farm work, driving semi-truck, and going to the casino. You could almost always find Rita sitting on the porch drinking coffee enjoying the fresh air. Rita had the absolute most amazing personality and sense of humor. Rita would give the shirt off her back to help anyone in need. She often put others needs before her own. Rita was a dear friend to so many in our community and she will forever be greatly missed by many.

Rita was proceeded in death by her dad (Dow Williams), brother Donnie Williams, nephews Josh Williams, Dustin Williams, and Marshall Williams, father-in-law Danny Hurtado, brother-in-laws Robbie Hurtado and Billy Williams, several grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rita is survived by her husband: Bill Hurtado of Alton, daughters Mekeia Hurtado of Alton and Cora Hurtado (Charles Head) of Alton, grandsons: Hunter Ruth, Kaleb Head, and Kyle Head all of Alton, mother Jewel Williams of Alton, sister Janice Williams of Alton, brother Tommy (Terri) Williams of Alton, mother-in-law Janet Hurtado of Alton, brothers-in-law Brad and Marty Hurtado of Alton, sister-in-law Kimberly Hurtado-Palmer of Alton, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the Alton Assembly of God Church with Greg Watson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 2:00-4:00 pm at the Clary Funeral Home, Alton, MO. Burial in the Huddleston Cemetery.
