On Friday, September 10, 2021, West Plains Mayor Mike Topliff joined with the Daughters of the American Revolution to sign Constitution Week into law. Mayor Topliff spoke on the importance of Constitution Week:
The signing of the proclamation designated the week of September 17 as Constitution Week. 2021 is the 64th anniversary of Constitution Week first initiated by the Daughters of the American Revolution.
