No. 25 Mizzou Drops 3-0 Match to Hot-Hitting No. 7 Florida

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – No. 25 Mizzou Volleyball (11-7, 11-7 SEC) could not slow down a red-hot attack from No. 7 Florida (16-2, 16-2 SEC) as the Gators earned a 3-0 (25-10, 25-19, 25-18) victory on Saturday (March 13).

A day after Mizzou opened the match with a blistering attack, Florida hit .714 in the first set to cruise into the early lead. The Gators did not commit a hitting error in the opening frame and went on to hit .513 in the match.

Senior Kylie Deberg led Mizzou offensively with 14 kills in the match. The Tigers hit just .094, however, committing 21 errors in attack.
