Earl Lavon Johnson, Sr., 93 years, 9 months, and 14 days old, passed away on, August 20, 2022 at Shepherd of the Hills Nursing in Branson, Missouri.
Earl was born November 6, 1928 in Squires, Missouri to Argie Earl and Bertha Mae (Manning) Johnson.
Earl was a Christian and raised in the Baptist Faith.
Earl and Anna Power were united in marriage on January 28, 1956 in DeKalb, Illinois.
Earl enjoyed fishing and playing his Dobro Guitar. He played music at the DD Community Center in Branson West for 26 years.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Erwin and Charles; infant brother and two sisters.
Earl is survived by his wife, Anna; two sons, Earl Lavon Johnson, Jr. and Steve Johnson; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Graveside Funeral Service for Earl will be Thursday August 25th at 11:00a.m. in the Ava Cemetery with burial to follow. Officiating will be Pastor Oren Alcorn. Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
