The Cardinals managed just five hits in a 5-0 loss to the Padres at Petco Park. Albert Pujols had two of the Cardinals’ hits in the losing effort. Adam Wainwright fell to 11-and-10 after giving up four runs in six innings of work. St. Louis falls to 87-and-62, but they still hold an eight-and-a-half game lead over the Brewers for first place in the NL Central. Miles Mikolas starts for the Cardinals against the Padres tonight.
