The West Plains Zizzers took on the Forsyth Panthers at home in a weather make-up game on Saturday, Feb. 2nd.
The Zizzers started off hot, leading in the first quarter with the Panthers trailing close behind. West Plains had gotten a hold of their turnover problem that had plagued them the night before, ending the first period leading 19 to 15. The second quarter had West Plains continuing to outscore Forsyth, 21 to 14 for the period, and ending the half with a score of Zizzers 40, Panthers 29.
The Panthers worked hard to catch up to the Zizzers in the third quarter, coming within 8 points of West Plains at the end of the third. The Zizzers kept a strong lead at 53 to 45. West Plains would take off in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Panthers 16 to 9 and securing their victory.
