Thayer, MO. – In addition to the pair of crashes reported yesterday via the Missouri State Highway Patrol, found here and here, a third crash on June 1st around Highway 63 has been reported by the Thayer Police Department. This one includes a confirmed fatality.
This crash was reported on by the Thayer Police Department yesterday before noon, and outlines that a vehicle containing two adults and three juveniles went off the road near Highway 63 and Alton Road. The vehicle went through a wooded embankment and into a back yard before striking a tree.
The driver was fatally injured in the crash. All passengers were taken to Ozarks Healthcare, and two juveniles had to then be transported to another hospital for further emergency care.
The driver was recently identified in an update as Adam Berhorst, 43, of Westphalia, Missouri.
