Tight end Cole Kmet scored two touchdowns and was called into emergency long-snapping duties in Chicago’s 35-16 rout of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

The tight end successfully snapped after each of Caleb Williams’ four TD passes and D’Andre Swift’s 1-yard plunge as the Bears (4-2) won their third straight game for the first time in nearly four years.

Keenan Allen caught two touchdown passes.

Williams, the No. 1 pick in this year’s NFL draft, finished 23 of 29 for 226 yards with the four TD passes and one interception. He picked up 56 yards on four carries.

Trevor Lawrence completed 23 of 35 passes for 234 yards, two touchdown passes and one interception.

Ravens 30, Commanders 23

Derrick Henry ran for 132 yards and his NFL-leading eighth and ninth TDs, Zay Flowers set a career high with 132 yards receiving and Lamar Jackson moved into second on the career rushing list among QBs as the Baltimore Ravens beat the Washington Commanders 30-23 on Sunday for their fourth consecutive victory.

Andrews tied Todd Heap for the most TD catches since the team moved to Baltimore with the 41st of his career.

Jackson finished with 323 yards passing and 40 more rushing.

Jayden Daniels connected with Terry McLaurin on two TD passes, but did not get nearly enough help from the backfield in a matchup of the two top rushing offenses in the league. With Brian Robinson Jr. out because of a knee injury, Washington (4-2) got just 52 yards on the ground.

Eagles 20, Browns 16

Jalen Hurts threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns, including a go-ahead 45-yard toss to DeVonta Smith in the fourth quarter, and Philadelphia beat Cleveland 20-16 on Sunday.

Hurts also threw a 22-yard TD to A.J. Brown, who returned along with Smith after both wide receivers missed time with injuries.

Deshaun Watson’s dismal play did not nothing to quiet the calls that the team’s $230 million quarterback should be benched. He finished 16 of 23 for 168 yards, and the Browns failed to score an offensive touchdown — they still haven’t scored 20 points in a game this season.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said after the game he would stick with Watson, even as the Browns appear to have no chance of repeating the playoff run they made last year behind then-backup Joe Flacco.

Chargers 23, Broncos 16

Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers offense capitalized on the departure of star cornerback Patrick Surtain II to beat the Denver Broncos 23-16 on Sunday.  Surtain suffered a concussion on Denver’s first defensive snap.

J.K. Dobbins ran for 96 yards on 25 carries for Los Angeles, including a 4-yard touchdown run..

After two turnovers and five punts, Bo Nix directed the Broncos on a 95-yard scoring drive capped by his 2-yard pass to fellow Oregon alum Troy Franklin early in the fourth quarter.

Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh missed the start of the game while being evaluated by medical personnel, but returned to the sideline in the first quarter and coached the remainder of the game. He told a CBS sideline reporter he was dealing with a heart arrhythmia.

Packers 34, Cardinals 13

Romeo Doubs caught two of Jordan Love’s four touchdown passes in the Green Bay Packers’ 34-13 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Doubs’ first two touchdowns of the season included a 10-yard score to open the second quarter and a 20-yard reception in the third quarter.

Doubs was suspended from the Packers’ 24-19 win over the Los Angeles Rams last week after missing two practices.

Arizona (2-4) had been averaging a league-low 3.8 penalties per game, but they were penalized 13 times for 100 yards Sunday. They also committed three turnovers.

Arizona also lost several players to injuries, the most notable coming when rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. left with a concussion in the second quarter after his head hit the thigh of Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie on an incompletion.

Kyle Murray went 22 of 32 yards for 214 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown to Michael Wilson. Arizona’s James Conner gained just 24 yards on seven carries as the Packers outrushed the Cardinals 179-89.

Bucs 51, Saints 27

Baker Mayfield overcame three turnovers with 325 yards and four touchdowns passing, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New Orleans Saints 51-27 on Sunday in what they hoped would be a morale boost to their many fans who endured Milton’s widespread damage earlier in the week.

The Bucs rushed for 277 yards as a team, led by Sean Tucker’s 136 yards and one TD rushing. Bucky Irving added 81 yards and short touchdown. Tucker also turned a short catch into a 36-yard touchdown.

Tampa Bay became just the fifth team in NFL history to have at least 300 yards passing and 275 yards rushing in a game. The Bucs’ 594 total offensive yards were the second-most ever yielded by the Saints.

Saints QB Spencer Rattler was intercepted twice, but finished 22 of 40 for 243 yards and a TD pass to fellow rookie Bub Means. Alvin Kamara scored his seventh TD this season on a 4-yard run and Rashid Shaheed returned a punt 54 yards for a touchdown.

Texans 41, Patriots 21

C.J. Stroud threw three touchdown passes and the Houston Texans spoiled the first start of rookie New England quarterback Drake Maye, breezing past the Patriots 41-21 on Sunday.

Joe Mixon rushed for 102 yards and caught a TD pass from Stroud after the veteran missed the Texans’ previous three games with an ankle injury.

Stefon Diggs had six catches for 77 yards and a score for the AFC South-leading Texans (5-1), and Tank Dell had seven receptions for 57 yards and a TD.

Dameon Pierce ripped off a 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and finished with 76 yards on eight carries. Will Anderson Jr. recorded a career-best three sacks for Houston, which has won three straight.

The Patriots (1-5) got a boost from Maye, the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL draft. Taking over for veteran Jacoby Brissett, he finished 20 of 33 for 243 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 38 yards but was intercepted twice and sacked four times, one resulting in a lost fumble deep in New England territory that led to a Houston touchdown.

Colts 20, Titans 17

Joe Flacco hit  Michael Pittman Jr. in the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown pass with 7:27 left that lifted the Indianapolis Colts to a 20-17 win Sunday over Tennessee.

Flacco now is 1-1 in his second straight start for the Colts (3-3) who got a much-needed split of back-to-back road games inside the AFC South with second-year quarterback Anthony Richardson scratched again with an injured right hip.

Richardson, the fourth overall pick out of Florida in 2023, has yet to play against Will Levis who was the 33rd selection overall in the same draft by Tennessee. The battered Colts with nine on injured reserve also had 2021 NFL rushing champ Jonathan Taylor out for a second straight game.

The Titans (1-4) now have lost three straight to their division rival. They will have to wait until November to try and win their first home game this season for first-year coach Brian Callahan, who said he still thinks his team is better than its record.

Steelers 32, Raiders 13

Najee Harris rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown Sunday to lift the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 32-13 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Harris topped 100 yards for the first time since ending last season with back-to-back such performances. He rushed for 1,000 yards in each of his first three seasons but entered this game averaging 3.3 yards per carry this year.

Quarterback Justin Fields added 59 yards on the ground and two TDs, though he passed for just 145 yards. Fields’ hold on the starting job had come into question after recent subpar performances and with Russell Wilson being activated for the first time this season after being out with a calf injury.

Pittsburgh (4-2) stopped a two-game skid.

Pittsburgh held the Raiders (2-4) to 275 yards, and four-time All-Pro T.J. Watt forced two fumbles and had two tackles for loss.

Second-year Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell, making his first start in place of the benched Gardner Minshew, opened the game 4 for 4 for 55 yards to lead a touchdown drive. But O’Connell failed to build on that, finishing 27 of 40 for 227 yards.

Lions 47, Cowboys 9

Jared Goff threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns, and the Detroit Lions blew out Dallas 47-9 on Sunday, handing the Cowboys a fourth consecutive lopsided loss at home.

David Montgomery had two rushing TDs for the Lions (4-1), who lost pass rusher Aidan Hutchinson to a serious injury to his lower left leg in the third quarter.

Dak Prescott threw two interceptions in the worst home loss since 1988 for the Cowboys (3-3), who became the first team since at least 2000 to trail by 14 or more more points at halftime in four consecutive games on their home field. Dallas is 0-3 at home and 3-0 on the road.

Detroit led 27-6 at the break, putting the combined total of the Dallas halftime deficit at AT&T Stadium at 110-35 going back to a wild-card playoff loss to Green Bay in January.

The current skid followed a 16-game home winning streak that was second-longest in franchise history, and the 167 points allowed by Dallas are the third most in a four-game home stretch in NFL history.

Prescott was 17 of 33 without a touchdown for a 42.2 passer rating, the second-worst of his career.

**Hutchinson was carted off after his leg appeared to snap above the ankle when it collided with the left leg of teammate Alim McNeill as Hutchinson was pulling Prescott down for one of four Detroit sacks. The team said Hutchinson will need surgery after an injury to his left tibia.

Falcons 38, Panthers 20

Bijan Robinson ran for 95 yards and two touchdowns, Tyler Allgeier added 105 yards rushing and a score and the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Carolina Panthers 38-20 on Sunday for their third win over an NFC South foe in three weeks.

Kirk Cousins completed 19 of 30 passes for 225 yards and threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Drake London.

Carolina’s Andy Dalton finished 26 of 38 for 221 yards with two touchdowns passes and two fourth-quarter interceptions for the Panthers (1-5), who have lost three straight.

SUNDAY NIGHT:   Bengals 17, Giants 7

Joe Burrow scored on a career-long 47-yard run on the opening possession, and the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense carried them to a much-needed 17-7 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday night.

Evan McPherson made a go-ahead 37-yard field goal in the third quarter after a botched snap and hold contributed to him missing a potential game-winning kick a week earlier. And Chase Brown scored on a 30-yard run with 1:52 to play — one play after he fumbled and the ball rolled out of bounds — to give the Bengals (2-4) some hope after a dismal start.

Rookie Tyrone Tracy ran for a 1-yard touchdown for the Giants (2-4), who are winless are home in three games and have one scored one touchdown. They failed to take advantage of a Bengals defense that came in ranked 31st in the league in scoring.

The Giants played without playmaking rookie receiver Malik Nabers (concussion) and starting running back Devin Singletary (groin) for the second straight week.

Daniel Jones went 22 of 41 for 205 yards. Burrow had similar numbers — 19 of 28 for 208 yards — but made the plays that mattered.
