Two women were injured Wednesday night when a van hydroplaned on Highway 13, two miles south of Bolivar.
The Highway Patrol says a 2024 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by a 58‑year‑old woman from Lakeview, Arkansas, was headed south around 7:35 p.m. when it slid off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The driver and a 54‑year‑old passenger from Iowa both suffered moderate injuries. They were wearing safety devices and were taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield.
