A West Plains man is facing charges after police say he walked naked through a neighborhood and threatened a child. According to the probable cause statement, officers responded to Garrett Street on May 15 for reports of a male “walking down the roadway naked and screaming loudly.”
An 11‑year‑old told police the man, identified as Joshua Thomas Mansfield, said he was “coming for him” while “completely nude,” a detail also confirmed on home video. The child’s mother reported he was extremely upset and wished to pursue charges. Mansfield is charged with sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 and first‑degree harassment.
