OzSBI to Host Identity Theft & Scams Lunch & Learn in June

The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will host Protecting Yourself From Identity Theft, Cybercrimes, and Scams on June 24 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. This lunch & learn will teach attendees how to safeguard themselves against the tactics employed by hackers to steal personal identity and financial resources.

During the session, you will learn the differences and similarities between Identity Theft, Cybercrimes, and Scams; how to recognize the strategies behind more scams to prevent personal and financial loss; tools and habits to incorporate in your daily practices to safeguard your personal information; and the steps you can take to recover as a victim of identity theft, including limitations of legal agencies when your interactions with the hacker occurred through deceptive means.

 

The session will be facilitated by Davine Conover, Business Development Specialist at Ozark Federal Credit Union. Davine is a seasoned speaker and passionate advocate for personal and professional growth at every stage in life. At Ozark Federal Credit Union, she dedicates her expertise to empowering individuals and organizations through education and community engagement.
