MARION COUNTY, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Department responded to 83 calls for service during the week ending July 3.
According to the department’s weekly report, deputies responded to three domestic disturbances and completed 13 wellbeing checks. Deputies also made eight misdemeanor arrests and one felony arrest during the week.
Deputies assisted with or worked five accidents and completed 22 incident reports. The department also recorded five bailiff hours for the week.
The Criminal Investigation Division opened one felony investigation and closed five felony investigations. Investigators also conducted one death investigation, one crime scene search and three interviews. CID recorded 11 investigative conferences, attended three conference meetings and logged 73 hours of report preparation.
The Marion County Detention Center booked 14 inmates and released seven during the week. The detention center ended the week with 69 inmates.
